💜 COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATE 💜
As many of you are aware a number of Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted by Welsh Government on Saturday 7th August. This makes us all so happy that Wales has reached ‘Alert Level Zero’ and our lives can start getting back to normality!
At the Fountain Inn we have always taken a cautious and measured approach throughout the pandemic and in accordance with the new Welsh Office Guidelines (which come with the latest lifting of restrictions) we will continue to do so.
For those of our guests who have not yet been able to receive their protective vaccines, it may bring some peace of mind to know that all of the Fountain Staff have been vaccinated.
The return to 'normality' for some customers may be somewhat of a daunting time and so we will ease measures at the Fountain as requested by Mr. Drakeford "in a continued, cautious and phased manner".
🌟 Our staff will continue to wear face masks and we will be pleased if our guests do the same whilst not seated at their table.
🌟 We are now able to take reservations for larger parties, as the rule of 6 no longer applies to hospitality settings.
🌟 We will continue to provide table service only and the bar area will remain as a clear passageway for guests and staff.
🌟 The management decision to become a dedicated restaurant and no longer a pub was made long before Covid arrived. As with any other restaurant in the country we will only serve drinks with a main meal.
🌟 The Test, Trace and Protect information (of the lead booker) will be retained for 21 days following a reservation.
🌟 The 2 meter social distancing signage around our establishment will remain as a subtle reminder to respect each other’s personal space. As we will continue to stagger our arrivals we will no longer be using the one way system, but we do ask guests to continue to respect others by keeping a safe distance.
🌟 Our safety screens in between tables will remain indefinitely but can be moved temporarily for larger parties.
🌟 We will still require our guests to make advanced bookings and will offer walk-ins only if we are safely able to do so.
🌟 We will continue to keep up our thorough cleaning and hygiene procedures for the safety of our staff and guests.
🌟 Our hand sanitising stations will remain in place throughout the building , and should continue to be used regularly throughout your visit.
🌟 We kindly ask that you continue to follow the wider Welsh Government advice, and do not visit if you or any members of your family group are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms.
Updates will be continued to be posted on our Social Media.
Thank you as always for your understanding and continued support!
