Sean Connolly at Dubai Opera hosts their ‘Sneaky Garden Brunch’, every Friday from 12PM – 4PM. While listening to the chilled beats of the resident DJ, guests can enjoy their favourite dishes outdoors in the heart of Downtown, on top of Dubai Opera with a surreal view of the Burj Khalifa above.
British-born chef, Sean Connolly is known for his simple, product-driven menu and his obsession with oysters, with the self-proclaimed oyster connoisseur ensuring your oysters are shucked to order in the restaurant’s ‘secret garden’.
The a la carte style brunch menu features fresh oysters from a live oyster station with a wide selection of starters to share, including sashimi fish salad with chili mayo and grilled white peaches and buffalo mozzarella with pistachio pesto.
Moving to the main course, guests can choose between king crab teamed with chili linguine, ocean beef rib eye from New Zealand and sustainable sea bass en papillote, basil and fregola, to name a couple.
Sweeten the finish with either Sean’s famous lemon tart a la Marco, a dreamy valrhona chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream or their arctic roll with strawberry soup.
