The ‘Meat Artist’, Celebrity Chef Gürkan, opened his first restaurant - Gürkan Sef Steakhouse at Nişantaşı, Istanbul in 2014, followed by another branch at Etiler in May 2017. On January 2018 - the first branch abroad of Turkey was opened at City Walk 2, Dubai.
Gürkan Şef Steakhouse serves a variety of core specialties ranging from “Dried-Aged and Wet-Aged Steaks”; the beef & lamb cuts is sourced from Turkey, the cattle is raised in a special farm and it’s grass-fed. The elaborate menu is distinctly curated, featuring the meatballs, burgers, steaks and starters - taking foodies on an extravagant culinary journey across Turkey.
Chef’s specials such as ‘Gürkan Şef Vay Vay Vay’, a veal tenderloin cooked in meat juice. As a Starter, guests can indulge in “Cheddarli Füme”, a smoked meat with Cheddar cheese sauce and special herbs. To end the perfect meal, Gürkan’s own homemade ‘Nirvana’ that will seamlessly satiate everyone’s sweet tooth.
