Tolosa Bodega, located at the trendy Souk Al Bahar in Downtown, is all about authentic French and Spanish cuisine with a particular focus on the Basque region, all prepared using traditional recipes and techniques. The décor has a Parisian feel to it, and the French atmosphere is furthered by French themed contemporary music.
The menu is succinct and short, putting the emphasis on the quality of the food choices, which consists mainly of Basque-style pintxos, Southern French dishes and Mediterranean twists. Pintxoz starters, tartare dishes, salads and main courses are all tasty and artfully presented.
The atmosphere is lively and pleasant with a continental feel to it, thanks in part to the tavern-like interior design of exposed brick walls and rustic wooden tables. Besides the main dining area, Tolosa Bodega also has a comfortable lounge area and an attractive terrace overlooking the Souk Al Bahar.
