Originally founded in Venice in 1931, Cipriani is now located in the centre of the Dubai’s financial district. The restaurant is classically Italian with modern décor, the walls are adorned with creative photos and the tables covered with crisp white tablecloths. The cooking style is traditional and the menu has hand made pasta options, antipasto and a selection of desserts.

I can’t imagine a better place for food and people watching. It can get loud for older customers later in the evening but the food is incredible and the service as well.

We had dined twice at Cipriani on a previous trip and wanted to enjoy dinner there again. The host who met and greeted us at the door was personable.

Bad service. 21:30 refused to serve desert without main dish. Are you serious? Dubai is always about good service for me but not here. Never again.
