Vesna, a Russian word for Spring, is a contemporary Slavic restaurant bringing a taste of Eastern Europe to the Middle East. Located in the Mezzanine of the Conrad Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, the restaurant is all about Russian cuisine, culture and hospitality.
Prize Winning Celebrity Head Chef Maksim Tvorogov is at the helm of all culinary activities at Vesna and has created a menu that consists of modern reinterpretations of classic Eastern European dishes fused with touches of other cuisine styles. The Ukrainian borsch features a dash of Indian spices, the chicken Kiev is done in Japanese bread crumbs, and the homemade noodles are made with Italian flour with fresh porcini mushrooms. The food offering is complimented with a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Vesna’s interior consists of contemporary décor set in a relaxed atmosphere. Sparkling chandeliers, button-tufted chairs, pale wooden flooring and ornate gold framed mirrors sets the backdrop to this elegant eatery. Live soul and jazzy tunes performed by the talented in-house pianist and vocalist creates a lively dynamic ambience. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly at this little piece of Russia in the Middle-East.
