Description
This multiple award-winning and established culinary force hardly needs an introduction! Zuma, located at the DIFC, serves some of the best contemporary Japanese cuisine in the city. It’s a classy, modern and an enormously popular hangout thanks to its exemplary fine-dining experience and gorgeous ambiance.
This place is all about the Japanese Izakaya style of dining, where food is served to share. Traditionally, dishes are brought to the table in a steady stream of small plates to create an informal, yet sophisticated way of dining, all served up with Zuma’s iconic contemporary twist. Everything on the menu really is as good as it gets, from the beef tataki, black cod gyoza and spicy tenderloin, to the yuzu pepper jumbo tiger prawns and funky green tea desserts.
Zuma is open for lunch, and brunch on the weekend, but it really comes into its own element when the sun sets, and Dubai’s trendy social scene comes to life. The restaurant design, created by the famous Toyko-based designer Noriyoshi Muramatsu, is based on balancing the six elements of fire, earth, water, air, wood and iron to achieve harmony, and features hand carved granite counters, industrial steel walls, bamboo sculptures and other great pieces.
